Both the eagle and the man were hollow-formed from plate (two halves are joined together to form a voluminous whole). The branch was also hollowed out to give a more realistic appearance. This was designed by a friend of Timm Bredohl (who I worked with in Germany). It stands about 24" high and is about 22" Long. Despite its ungainly appearance it does work as a weathervane.
