Traditional Joinery Course Description: Students will get a comprehensive overview of traditional joinery and its application in both tradition and contemporary work. Joints to be covered are slit & drifted holes, mortise & tenon joints, forge welds, collars, rivets, lap joints, and others. At the end of the course, students will design a small project utilizing the joints they have learned. Come prepared to work hard and have fun! The participants of my 2004 course are pictured above.
